A Mediterranean architecturally inspired shopping complex set over 6.9 hectares to facilitate Papamoa’s urban expansion situated adjacent to Royal Palm Beach Estate and across from Papamoa Beach. Palm Beach Plaza was a mix of specialty shops and cafes anchored by larger nation-wide retail stores and since changing hands in 2013 with the new owners, the Plaza has been in the process of a large scale extension.

The Palm Beach Plaza shopping complex when built intergrated an indoor/outdoor shopping experience, while long atrium styled skylights brought natural sunlight to all shops.

At the time of development adjacent land and buildings were acquired and set aside for future development insuring the continued growth of the centre.
